Owlivia laid EGG #6 at 11:53pm January 30th, and not 10 seconds later,
rolled it to the side and then ate it.
It must not have been viable...

WHAT IT TURNED INTO HAS BEEN AN AMAZING JOURNEY FILLED WITH LOWS AND HIGHS, ANXIETY AND ANGST, DEATH AND DESPAIR, AMAZEMENT AND AMUSEMENT, WONDER AND WILLING, LOVE AND LAUGHTER, FEAR, FRENZY, FRIENDSHIP, AND TEARS ~ OF SORROW AND OF JOY, SIMPLE PURE JOY ~ INSPIRATION!

RIGHT! THAT TEXT DID LEAD ME TO MOLLY, THEN EVENTUALLY AND FINALLY TO OWLIVIA & OWLIVER ... A PAIR OF COMMON BARN OWLS DOING THEIR BEST TO RAISE A FAMILY OF 5 OWLETS IN A HUMAN INSTALLED OWL BOX IN A BACKYARD ABOVE A GORGEOUS CANYON. ...AND NEITHER WOULD THEY EVER KNOW

A Description of this PhotoHi Owlivia, I took this screenshot of Owliver and Owlivia yesterday just after 7AM and thought you might find it interesting. There was an 'intruder bird' just outside the box doorway, maybe on the perch. It was very loud. I don't think it was a crow, but in any case both owls were alarmed! Look at Owliver, head down and wings out. Owlivia wasn't impressed either. After a few minutes, it flew away and they settled down again. LandofAnne
