Where they Hunt

WHERE THEY HUNT...

Because some of you have asked,
here are several shots from our backyard

There is NO scarcity of game
by any stretch of the imagination!
Trees abound also...as you can see.

A couple of fine views overlooking the canyon
from their nesting box...

And Now....(recently installed) Two 'flapping practice', 'flight and landing platforms',
with indoor/outdoor carpeting on the post all the way up to the top,
strapped to the outside of the fence so our 'kidlets'
can crawl up and hopefully get out of harm's way.

...and when they get to the top,
they have a carpeted landing too!

Next comes schooltime!

We moved the first 'flapping practice' deck
to less than a 2' jump
from the Owl Box Perch.

...And a 20 foot ramp
back up from the canyon

...Added a carpeted Perch

   Just in case they get stuck
   inside of the fence, we have
    a carpeted ramp leading back
    which they can climb up, too.

From the Canyon Point of View...

A pretty COO-OOOOOWL
place for Owls to hunt,
and LEARN to hunt
wouldn't you say...?

Yep! It's a real
'Hoot'
   out there...
